Jamaica: It’s Been A Long While

I may have only mentioned this on my twitter feed, but I will be going back to Jamaica for the first time since 2008. I will be enjoying this Christmas & New Years with JJ there and its going to be awesome. The time is getting closer and the excitement is starting to build. I don’t know about you, but I find that the experience of preparing to go on any trip is almost as exciting as being there. I think that it is because I allow my mind to wander about what could be. Once my expectations are exceeded – which happens more often than not – I have such rich reflective process that I go through that makes it all worth it. I am looking forward to some patty and cocoa bread, coconut water, bulla and pear (avocado for my non-J’can friends), and some fish n festival….jerk chicken too…*sigh* *mouth watering*
